Wow, have we been on the move the last couple of days! Friday night the grooms parents threw what could easily be called one of the best parties we have ever been to. It was the couples Mehandi, which is a day full of ceremonies blessing the couple and bonding them to marriage. Kind of a pre wedding-wedding. Jen looked stunning! She was so beautiful, calm and collected throughout the whole thing.
So, yesterday we took a tour of the city with a few friends. This is a really amazing place. Jeremy is quite the sensation here. Everyone stares and takes pictures with him. Really, he must have met at least 20 new friends while at one stop. They were following him around and seriously loving him. The locals are so beautiful. There is no pointing, laughing or just being rude as experienced in the states. Here, they are sincere in their curiosities and just want to meet you. We are officially now in love with this place!
Last night was a dinner, casual cocktail party that the brides parents threw. We had a delicious dinner and just hung out with everyone. It was relaxing and much needed.
The wedding festivities tonight start at 10:00am today and end at 8:00 this evening. It is going to be so exciting to see the two lovebirds get married. I can not wait to see the outfits she wears!
